Our Client, a centrifugal pump manufacturer in Chloorkop is looking for a skilled CNC Boring Mill Machinist (Horizontal & Vertical) to join their team.

The ideal candidate:

Must be a Male Afrikaans-speaking Red Seal Trade Tested Artisan (with qualification)

Have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

Have a minimum 3 - 5 years’ CNC Boring Mill (horizontal & vertical) experience

Be able to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment

Will have strong experience in both horizontal and vertical (Webster & Bennet) boring mills, with the
ability to operate, set, and program machines to exact specifications and high
tolerances

Must have experience machining pump components with previous pump experience

Must be able to work without supervision

Must be able to do self-inspections and work to tight tolerances

Be able to Machine split pumps (advantage)

Must be able to work center lathes

Should be able to complete workpieces according to engineering drawings

Should be able to operate precision tools (e.g. Vernier calipers, micrometers)

Must be able to work shifts and over time as required

Be able to communicate effectively with superiors regarding procedures, quality, and tooling.
