Hastebuild is looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team.

Reporting Location: Steeledale, Johannesburg South.

(Site locations will vary.)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise workers and subcontractors on site

Plan daily tasks and manage productivity

Read and interpret drawings and specifications

Monitor progress and report to Project Manager

Enforce health & safety standards

Ensure high-quality workmanship

Manage materials, tools, and site logistics

Resolve site issues effectively

Minimum Requirements:

Valid driver’s licence with 5+ years driving experience

Proven experience as a Construction Foreman/Site Supervisor (5+ years )

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to read construction drawings

Knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and
safety regulations

Good problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Trade qualification or construction certification

First Aid or Safety training

Experience on commercial, civil, or large-scale projects

Basic computer skills

Key Competencies:

Leadership, planning, organisation, time management,
attention to detail, conflict resolution, accountability, reliability.

Advantageous:

Trade qualification
