We are seeking a vibrant, organized, and professional HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team at our Table View practice. Key Responsibilities:

Chairside Assisting: Provide seamless, four-handed chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures.

Infection Control & Sterilization: Maintain strict clinical hygiene, process and sterilize instruments according to protocol, and manage daily operatory setup and breakdown.

Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, reassure anxious patients, and ensure a comfortable, high-standard patient experience from start to finish.

Stock & Inventory Control: Assist with monitoring clinical stock levels, organizing operatory supplies, and tracking laboratory work.

Records & Lab Admin: Capture accurate clinical notes/billing codes under clinician direction and manage lab cases and follow-ups.

Team Player: Maintain flexibility and a willingness to assist with cross-functional reception or admin tasks to support smooth practice operations when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Registration: Current, valid registration as a Dental Assistant with the HPCSA (mandatory).

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on chairside assisting experience in a dental practice (highly preferred).

Clinical Skills: Strong knowledge of dental instruments, materials, clinical procedures, and strict sterilization protocols.

Software Knowledge: Familiarity with dental management software, GoodX experience is a distinct advantage.

Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, a high level of multitasking competence, and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Availability: Must be available to start immediately.

Working Hours & Offer:

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, plus Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00).

Salary: Market-related, commensurate with experience.
