A property development platform is seeking a Development Associate to support and drive shopping centre and retail-led developments from feasibility through to delivery. The role reports directly to a Director and is suited to candidates with proven end-to-end development experience in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Advance developments from feasibility, approvals and funding through to construction and completion
Maintain programmes in MS Project and manage live development deal flow
Chair regular consultant coordination meetings and drive deliverables to deadlines
Project-manage small projects / minor works, including sourcing and managing suppliers
Support due diligence, municipal processes and funding workstreams
Travel nationally for site visits and meetings as required

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree (Honours) in Property Studies, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Finance, Real Estate or related
Minimum 3 years experience in property development
Experience in medium to large development houses in South Africa
Proven involvement in at least one development from start to finish
Shopping centre and retail development experience
Advanced MS Project proficiency (non-negotiable)
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
