Dog Grooming Assistant (Entry Level)

Pampered Paws is looking for a reliable and energetic Dog Grooming Assistant to join our team.

This is an entry level position and full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with dogs and willing to learn in a fast paced, hands on environment.

What You Will Do
Assist groomers with bathing and drying dogs
Help prepare dogs for grooming
Clean and maintain grooming areas and equipment
Support with handling and calming dogs
Assist with general daily operations in the salon
Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment

Training & Development
You will go through our Pampered Paws Training Academy, where you will complete various dog care and grooming courses designed to build your skills from the ground up.

This includes:

Dog handling and behaviour basics
Bathing and drying techniques
Grooming preparation skills
Safety and care standards

This is a structured pathway to becoming a professional dog groomer.

What We Are Looking For
No experience required
Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Physically fit and able to handle an active workday
Reliable, punctual, and well presented
Good attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work in a fast paced environment

Important to Know
This is a hands on role working with water, hair, and animals daily
Some dogs may be nervous or require patience
