Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Companion & Driver to provide ongoing support to a gentleman living with dementia. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, attentive, and enjoys assisting others with daily activities.
Working Hours:
Days: Every Tuesday and Friday
Time: 09:00 – 12:00
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with shopping errands
Transport to and from doctor’s appointments
Ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment
Requirements:
Fluent in Afrikaans
Valid driver’s licence (essential)
Previous experience with elderly care or dementia (advantageous)
Patient, kind, and trustworthy
Able to work independently and responsibly
