A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary at Life Nkanyisa - Waverley Care Centre, in Germiston, reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring delivery of uncompromising quality care in line with Company strategic objectives and applicable health / nursing legislation for our intermediate care.

Critical Outputs
Knowledge and understanding of the Scope of Practice of Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
Maintain Health, Safety, and Infection Prevention Standards
Ensuring quality patient care and client services
Conducting basic duties with the Scope of Practice of Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
Participate in patient activities and maintain sound relationships and communication with patients and relatives
Determining the special needs of patients by observing them during activities
Reporting and recording any abnormal changes in patient condition to the ward-in charge
Assist in ensuring a safe environment for patient care
Attend and participate in in-service training and engage in ongoing education
Assist in disseminating Health information by participating in giving health education to patients, their families, participating in Campaigns and Community health education
Participate in implementing the user’s rehabilitation programme

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate / Matric
Proof of current registration with SANC
Proof of two years’ nursing experience in a hospital/Care Centre environment
English subject in Matric passed
Enthusiasm to care for users with disabilities
Ability to work shifts according to get operational requirements of the Centre
Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
Be focused on quality performance
