About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, professional and experienced Driver to join our dynamic events team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment, and other event-related materials to and from venues in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport event equipment, décor, and team members to various locations across the region/country
Assist with loading and offloading of equipment
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and roadworthiness of the company vehicle
Adhere to traffic laws and road safety regulations at all times
Follow event schedules and delivery timelines
Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately
Provide support to the events team when needed on-site
Maintain accurate mileage and delivery logs
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or venue staff

Minimum Requirements:

Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 10 or Code 14 preferred)
Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Minimum 2–3 years driving experience, ideally in an events, logistics, or transport environment
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
Strong time management and communication skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
Trustworthy, punctual, and well-presented
