Description

We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a river-based project in Durban.

Excavator Operator

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience operating an excavator in a river environment.

Must have practical experience working in or around rivers, including riverbeds, water, or challenging wet conditions.
Must be 30 years of age or older.
Must be a competent and responsible excavator operator.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in difficult site conditions.
Good understanding of excavator safety, daily inspections, and equipment care.
Must be reliable, physically fit, and willing to work away from home.
Working Conditions:
- Location: Durban, South Africa
- River-based excavation work
- Live on site during the work period
- Home leave: Once per month

Candidates must be comfortable with a rotational night shift working arrangement.
