Description
We are looking for a well presented, friendly and organised candidate to be an Executive Chef for the Doppio Caffe in Sea Point as well as oversee the running of Seniors Kitchen in the area.
The purpose of this role is to oversee the smooth operational and financial running of the business.
Competencies:
At least 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef and 10 years in the restaurant or hotel industry .
Able to efficiently manage budgets .
Customer focussed and able to handle complaints effectively .
Competent at managing staff at all levels and good track record of staff retention .
Experienced with keeping a good food cost within target .
Effectively manage admin related to running a restaurant .
Goal driven, self-motivator and able to run the store like your own but still able to follow instructions from owners.
Good communication skills
Pilot experience (not essential)
Be prepared to work shifts.
A warm personality who enjoys dealing with management and guests.
Must have reliable own transport.
