Field Assistant - General worker

Location: Stellenbosch / Cape Winelands

Preference will be given to applicants that are based in Stellenbosch, living in or near the Stellenbosch area.

Job Type: Contract (3 positions)

We're looking for 3 energetic individuals to join our team for a specific project, tagging bins with RFID tags and QR code stickers. You'll be working outside, and getting things done!.

What you'll do:

Drill holes for RFID tags on wheelie bins

Paste QR code stickers onto bins

Scan and check tags are working

Help with general field work and bin handling

Work outside with Waste Management and Refuse Collection teams

Requirements:

Physically fit and happy to work outside

Basic knowledge and use of tools like hammers and drills

Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Comfortable working outside in open public spaces

Induction training will be provided
