Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and professional Forklift Driver to join our container depot team. This role is strictly for candidates who hold a Matric certificate and possess strong English communication skills.

You will be responsible for loading/unloading cargo from containers and
ensuring the safe movement of goods within the yard.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to load and unload palletised cargo from shipping containers.

Communication: Clearly communicate with yard supervisors,and tally clerks in English to ensure operational accuracy.

Cargo Management: Strategic Staging: Accurately move and
stage goods within the warehouse or yard in strict accordance with the
designated depot layout.

Yard Management: Execute precise stacking and positioning of
all cargo to maximize operational efficiency and proactively prevent inventory damage

Depot Protocols: Maintain high levels of safety and
efficiency while adhering to depot and warehouse procedures.

Safety & Inspections: Conduct daily pre-operational
inspections to ensure the machinery is fit for operation.

Mandatory Requirements

Education: Must have a Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Proof
will be required).

Language: Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) to ensure safety and coordination in the yard.

Certification: Valid Forklift Operator License (accredited).

Experience: 5+ years of experience, in a depot or logistics environment.

Record: Must have a clear criminal record and be medically fit for duty.
