We are a leading timber processing company dedicated to quality and efficiency. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our production and warehousing team.

The Role

You will safely maneuver large, heavy bundles of timber throughout our yard and processing facilities. This role requires precision handling, active stock control, and efficient inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Precision Maneuvering: Move, stack, and load large, awkward bundles of timber in tight spaces and variable outdoor yard conditions.
Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory counts, log stock movements, and organize timber by grade and size.
Loading & Unloading: Safely load delivery trucks and unload incoming raw materials.
Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operational forklift inspections and strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid Forklift Licence/Certification.
Proven experience handling oversized, heavy, or flexible loads (timber, steel, or heavy manufacturing experience preferred).
Strong spatial awareness and ability to judge load balance.
Solid understanding of stockhandling, inventory control, and basic paperwork.
Reliable transport and a strong commitment to a zero-harm workplace.
