We are a South African technology startup with an existing AI-powered digital platform operating in South Africa and the USA.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Full-Stack Developer to take over the technical maintenance, support and further development of our existing platform.

The platform is already developed. We are NOT looking to build a new application from scratch.

Responsibilities

* Maintain and improve our website and iOS/Android applications.
* Manage existing GitHub repositories and source code.
* Support backend systems, databases, APIs and cloud hosting.
* Maintain AI, WhatsApp Business API and payment integrations.
* Resolve bugs, perform updates and ensure system stability.
* Develop additional features and improvements as our business evolves.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience preferred.
* Strong frontend and backend development skills.
* Experience with existing software platforms and GitHub.
* Knowledge of mobile applications, cloud infrastructure and APIs.
* AI and WhatsApp integration experience advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and provide cost-effective solutions.

Budget and Long-Term Opportunity

We are a growing startup with a limited development budget. Our immediate priority is affordable, reliable maintenance and technical support, followed by additional development as the platform evolves.

We are looking for an individual developer or small independent team rather than an expensive development agency.

We are open to flexible hourly rates, affordable monthly retainers or project-based arrangements.

Our objective is to build a long-term relationship where development opportunities and remuneration can increase as the business grows and generates revenue.
