FARM HAND/ GENERAL WORKER

Livestock Experience | Half Day Position

Based in Kraaifontein - R6000 to R7000 pm

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and responsible Farm Hand/ General Worker who takes genuine pride in their work and understands that farming requires dedication, discipline and initiative.

We need someone who walks the walk, not just talks the talk!

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience working with livestock, particularly chickens, pigs and cattle.

Diligent, trustworthy and attentive to detail.

Responsible, self-motivated and results-driven.

Sober habits and a strong work ethic.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.

Willing to tackle any task required on the farm.

Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Valid driver's licence is essential.

Previous farm experience will be a distinct advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily feeding and care of chickens, pigs and cattle.

Cleaning and maintaining pig pens and livestock areas.

Collecting and transporting animal feed on designated days.

General farm maintenance and repairs to structures, fencing and equipment.

Managing and maintaining irrigation systems.

Monitoring livestock welfare and identifying potential problems.

Attending to all other day-to-day farm duties as required.
