The Directorate of Sport and Recreation has a Part-time position for a Head Coach: HP Men
Football based at the Pretoria Campus.
Critical Performance Areas

• To carry out all duties with which he/she is entrusted in order to ensure the successful
participation of the team
• Be a good planner, communicator, organiser and confessor
• To coach the team
• Manage and direct the Men Football program
• Draft and manage training sessions programs (daily, weekly and monthly)
• Manage, coordinate and serve as lecturer during the team meetings
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the team including strength and conditioning,
practicing, competing and scheduling.
• Evaluate and head the recruitment of qualified and skilled Football Students Athletes
• Direct and supervise the Football Assistant Coach
• Scout/Analyse Opponents.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 (or more) years’ experience as a football Head Coach
• Experience of coaching University football team / ABC Motsepe league/ USSA/ Varsity
Football Tournament will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English
• Computer Literacy
• Basic first aid qualification
• Code 8 or 10 driver’s license
• No criminal record.
