A private gentleman who has recently moved into a new residence is seeking a mature, well-presented, highly organised lady, preferably with a hospitality, guesthouse, hotel housekeeping, concierge, or private household background, to assist with setting up and maintaining a new home.
The property is still being established and requires someone who understands high standards, discretion, neatness, hygiene, and attention to detail.
This role would suit someone who enjoys creating order, takes pride in presentation, and is comfortable working independently in a private home environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Unboxing, unpacking, and organising household items
• Setting up neat and practical systems for cupboards, storage areas, cables, appliances, and living spaces
• Establishing and maintaining organised filing systems for personal records
• Light personal administration, record keeping, and document management
• Scanning and digitally archiving important documents in well-structured folders
• Creating and maintaining itemised inventories of belongings
• Cataloguing items to be donated, sold, recycled, or disposed of
• Ensuring the home remains clean, tidy, hygienic, and well organised
• Packing and unpacking luggage when required
• Running occasional errands, if needed
No washing, ironing, or pet care is required.
Requirements:
• Clean criminal record
• Previous hospitality, hotel, guesthouse, housekeeping, concierge, private home, or personal assistant experience preferred
• Excellent manners, integrity, discretion, and trustworthy intentions
• Neat, presentable, and professional approach
• Computer literate with good administrative skills
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible with working hours, as my schedule can be unpredictable
• Preference will be given to applicants residing close to Rosebank or who have their own reliable transport
