Meat manufacturing plant in Pinetown is looking for a HR/Finance assistant to join the team.

This role supports both finance and human resources functions, including processing invoices, assisting with expense tracking, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The position also involves supporting HR activities such as maintaining employee files, updating HRIS data, coordinating onboarding and training schedules.

The Finance / HR Assistant will help prepare basic reports, respond to employee queries, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.

Collaboration with finance, HR, and operations teams is essential to support smooth day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications

Human Resources support skills, including experience or interest in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management.

Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and ability to maintain accurate employee data

Experience coordinating or supporting Training activities, such as onboarding sessions and employee development programs.

Basic finance or accounting skills, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Effective written and verbal communication skills and a professional, confidential approach to sensitive information.

Ability to work on-site in the Pinetown area.

Relevant diploma or degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
