We are looking for an experienced and organised Logistics Controller to join our team and assist with the efficient day-to-day management of our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor daily truck and driver activities
Plan and allocate loads to vehicles and drivers
Track vehicles and monitor delivery progress
Communicate with drivers, clients and transport teams
Ensure all loads are collected and delivered on time
Follow up on outstanding PODs and delivery documentation
Capture and maintain accurate load and vehicle records
Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance
Assist with resolving breakdowns, delays and operational issues
Ensure drivers comply with company procedures and client requirements
Provide regular updates to management
Assist with general logistics administration and reporting

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Logistics Controller / Transport Controller
Experience in the trucking and transport industry
Strong knowledge of logistics and transport operations
Experience working with trucks, trailers and drivers
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Computer literate
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Must be reliable, proactive and solution-driven
Experience with long-haul transport and Superlink trucks will be preferred.
