Job Summary

A well-established (since 1966) Electrical Company in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, is looking for a reliable, well organized and hands-on Logistics manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Stock control
Issue materials and equipment to technicians and electricians.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items.
Keep the storeroom clean, safe and well organized.
Ensure all tools, equipment and materials are properly recorded and accounted for.
Electrical (NOT electronics) components background.
Logistics, Deliveries and Collections
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and supported by the correct
documentation, delivery notes and logistics documentation.
Assist with loading and offloading materials safely.
Valid EB driver's license is strongly recommended.
Vehicle Checks and Maintenance
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensure roadworthy, clean and in good condition

Report any vehicle defects, damage or maintenance requirements promptly.

Requirements

Male candidate required for this position. Afrikaans/English speaking
Minimum of 2 years store knowledge of materials, tool & equipment will be advantage.
Working knowledge of the OMNI accounts system is preferred.
Confident and safe driver with experience driving company vehicles.
Basic computer skills and good record-keeping abilities.
Honest, reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Good organizational, communication and time-management skills.
Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading materials.
