Mechanical Engineer – Ukuhamba (Pty) Ltd

Ukuhamba (Pty) Ltd is seeking a passionate and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. We are a medical technology company focused on developing affordable, high-quality prosthetic and orthotic solutions using advanced manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Create and modify CAD models for manufacturing.

Support product development, testing, and continuous improvement.

Work closely with the clinical and engineering teams.

Assist with 3D printing, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.

Ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and 3D printing is advantageous.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
