Desired Experience & Qualification

MUST HAVE UNDERGROUND EXPERIENCE

Trade Tested / Qualified in one of the following disciplines: Millwright, Fitter, or Electrician (Red Seal Certificate will be an advantage)
Minimum 5 years post-trade test experience in a mining environment, with strong underground experience preferred. Long hole rig and development rig experience will be an advantage!!
Proven experience in maintenance, installation, and repairs of mining equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical)
For Millwright and Underground Electrician applicants: Hands-on experience with PLCs, VSD drives, electrical panels, wiring, and fault finding
Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness (or ability to obtain) for underground work
Clear criminal record
Matric / Grade 12 qualification
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and respond effectively to breakdowns
Commitment to safety standards, procedures, and a high level of operational discipline
Willingness to work shifts and in underground mining conditions
