Network and Cybersecurity Technician – Minimum Requirements

We are currently seeking a qualified Network and Cybersecurity Technician to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:

IT Diploma in Network Systems, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Project Management Certificate.

Minimum of five (5) years' proven experience in networking and cybersecurity.

Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.

Experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity controls and security policies.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security-related issues.

Experience in network infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.

Monitor network performance and security events.

Manage firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and other security solutions.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation measures.

Support network migration and cybersecurity projects.

Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.

Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and operational procedures.
