Description
About the Role:
We're a growing portfolio of online media brands serving engaged audiences in mental health, personal development, and wellness. Our newsletters reach hundreds of thousands of readers daily.
We're looking for a natural-born conversationalist to become an on-camera face of our brand. You'll interview experts across different niches, hosting podcasts, online events, and video content people actually want to watch.
This isn't a read-the-teleprompter gig. You'll research every guest deeply, ask the questions their audience wishes someone would ask, listen actively, and steer conversations to the most interesting places. If talking to strangers energizes you and you light up when the recording starts, this role was written for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Host on-camera interviews with experts: podcasts, video interviews, and online events
• Research each guest thoroughly and prepare a question flow that goes beyond the obvious
• Lead natural conversations with active listening, smart follow-ups, and the ability to redirect
• Host live online events (webinars, panels, Q&As) with confidence and energy
• Work with our content team to spot clippable moments, strong hooks, and shareable insights
• Represent the brand professionally on camera at all times
• Keep improving your craft by reviewing your footage and studying great interviewers
Requirements:
• Proven on-camera experience: videos, online events, podcasts, or interviews. You'll show us footage, not just tell us
• A natural conversationalist who genuinely enjoys talking to people
• Zero camera shyness: comfortable live, on recorded video, and in front of audiences
• Strong research skills, able to prep for an expert in a field you knew nothing about last week
• An instinct for pacing, hooks, and what keeps viewers watching
• Fluent, clear, confident English
• Presentable and professional on every recording: grooming, wardrobe, background, lighting
Nice to Have:
• Basic video/audio setup knowledge (framing, mic technique)
• Experience growing an audience on YouTube, podcasts, or social media
• Experience coordinating guests and making experts feel comfortable
Who This Role Is NOT For:
• People who freeze or script every word when the camera turns on
• Presenters who talk more than they listen
• Anyone unwilling to put in the research before each interview
Work Details:
Hours: 4 hours per day (part-time, depending on business needs)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Flexible daily hours
