About the Role

The FIXHUB is looking for an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Plumber to join our growing network of service professionals. This is a per-job contractor position, ideal for someone who enjoys flexible working hours while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for completing plumbing repairs, maintenance, installations, and emergency call-outs to residential and small commercial customers. As a representative of The FIXHUB, professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose plumbing faults and provide effective solutions.
Perform plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and replacements.
Respond to emergency plumbing call-outs when required.
Complete work safely and in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain a clean and professional work environment at every job site.
Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after each job.
Accurately report completed work, materials used, and any additional findings through company reporting systems.
Take clear before-and-after photographs where required.
Represent The FIXHUB professionally and uphold the company's reputation for quality and reliability.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years' proven plumbing experience.
Valid South African driver's licence.
Valid South African Identity Document or a valid work permit authorising employment in South Africa.
Clear criminal record.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively in Afrikaans.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good written reporting and documentation skills.
Trustworthy, honest, and dependable.
Punctual with strong time-management skills.
Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends when required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically fit and capable of performing plumbing work safely.
