Porter (Driver Assistant)

Location: Atlas Gardens Business Park, Durbanville Hills

Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Porter (Driver Assistant) to join our
Frozen Food Distributors team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of frozen goods by assisting the driver with loading, offloading, and maintaining high service standards during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the driver with loading and offloading stock at various delivery points.

Ensure stock is handled with care and accurately delivered according to
documentation.

Help maintain cold chain integrity during transportation and delivery.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on-site.

Support the driver in completing delivery paperwork and route planning when needed.

Assist with general vehicle cleanliness and preparation before daily routes.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) is advantageous but not essential.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar porter/assistant or general labor role.

Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Knowledge of delivery operations and handling frozen goods is an advantage.

Own, reliable transport to and from work
