Description

We are looking for an exceptional 4* Receptionist for a hotel in the City Centre area in Cape Town

Requirements:

• Must be of sober habits and well-presented

· Preferable grade 12 Certificate

· Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a upmarket Hotel

· Well spoken, written and verbal communication skills

· Computer literate (Ms Office, Opera)

· Excellent organizational skills

· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

· Customer service attitude

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

· Perform all front of house duties – meeting, greeting and attending to all needs of the guest

· Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out

· Take all guest requests and take full responsibility to ensure that it is actioned in a timely manner

· Assist with telephonic and walk-in reservations

· Administer general banking report as per Finance procedure

· General office duties including correspondence, emails, filing

· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

Must be able to work Day & Night Shifts

· Well-groomed and professional
