You will follow nursing rules and standards. You will give nursing care to patients. You will work with doctors and other nurses to make sure patients get the best care. You will talk to patients and write reports when needed. You will help make sure the hospital meets its goals for good care.

What you need

You must have a nursing diploma or degree that lets you register with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). You should have 0 to 9 years of experience as a nurse. A diploma in midwifery is a plus but not required. You must know about nursing laws, how to prevent infections, and how to care for patients properly. You should be good at talking to people and working in a team. You must have a caring attitude and follow good ethical practices.
