A Sales Coordinator acts as the central administrative hub for a sales team, responsible for processing orders,
managing customer inquiries, and maintaining CRM data to ensure smooth operations. They support sales representatives by preparing proposals, tracking
sales targets, and coordinating logistics to improve productivity and customer
satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing:
Handling incoming orders, inputting data into CRM systems and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
Customer Support:
Serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and
email, managing accounts, and resolving issues.
Sales Support & Admin:
Providing administrative support to sales reps, including creating
proposals, scheduling meetings, and producing reports.
Inventory/Material Management:
Maintaining inventory of sales presentation tools, such as brochures and
marketing collateral.
Data Management:
Managing and updating the CRM database to ensure accuracy of leads and
customer data.
Collaboration: Working with marketing and logistics departments to align sales goals with production and promotion
efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in sales administration or a customer-facing role.
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle fast-paced environments.
Education: A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or marketing
often preferred.
