SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
South Africa
Salary: R500 000 per annum

Khula Human Capital is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join an established organisation.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant

Matric (Grade 12)

Accounting Certificate or relevant qualification

Must be a South African citizen

Property sector experience advantageous but not essential

Strong knowledge of South African tax and statutory compliance

Key Responsibilities (Full Accounting Function):

Full General Ledger management

Monthly management accounts preparation and reporting

Creditors and debtors control

Bank reconciliations and cash flow management

VAT, PAYE, UIF and statutory submissions

Trial balance and journal processing

Fixed asset register maintenance

Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Preparation of annual financial statements

Audit preparation and liaison with auditors

Financial reporting to management

Ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards

Managing internal controls and financial risk
