Our client is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator who is passionate about building scalable, efficient, and reliable business applications. He/She will maintain and supports the ServiceNow platform to optimize IT service management (ITSM) processes. manage user access, customize workflows, perform system upgrades, and ensure data integrity, handling incident resolution, reporting, and functional enhancements to align the platform with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations. Facilitate rolling out new applications and modules. Handling change management activities within ServiceNow, such as tracking changes, evaluating risks, and ensuring proper approvals before implementing changes to the platform.

Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues.

Support ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Portal.

Perform regular maintenance tasks such as system backups, performance tuning, and monitoring.

Set up and configure ServiceNow applications and modules according to business requirements.

Manage REST/SOAP API integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data exchanges.

Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide insights into the platform's performance and usage. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

Managing platform upgrades and applying patches to ensure the system is up-to-date with the latest features and security fixes. Create documentation for processes, configurations, and user training. Generate, maintain, and publish reports and dashboards.

Data entry from source documents into ServiceNow database.

Administer user accounts, groups, roles, and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure data security.

Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimizations within the ServiceNow environment.

 

Requirements and skills

 

At least 3 years of experience with the ServiceNow tool

Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project management methodologies

Advanced Scripting/ Reporting and other classes area highly recommended

2+ years of IT experience in information technology with a focus on IT application operations in a large scale, complex environment

Knowledge of JavaScript for client-side and server-side scripting, Web Services, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request).

In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment).

Understanding of ServiceNow applications, modules, and platform capabilities.
