We are in a search of a hospital pharmacy stock controller who will be responsible for managing medical inventory, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating the distribution of supplies.
This role involves ensuring that products are readily available, managing the ordering process, and conducting audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Role Requirements:
Communicate with doctors about specific stock requests and preferences.
Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained in wards.
Request stock codes for entry into Clinic Manager and pharmacy systems.
Receive stock deliveries from the Pharmacy.
Follow up on stock orders from other branch hospitals.
Complete requisition books and manage administrative tasks for stock movement.
Issue stock based on requests noted on picking slips.
Organize stock placement and charge items to patient accounts.
Conduct daily audits of charge sheets for accurate billing.
Perform daily cycle counts and monthly stock assessments.
Prepare stock sheets for inventory take.
Review stock holding reports and address negative stock discrepancies.
Monitor high-value items closely for better management.
Assist Unit Managers with stock ordering processes.
Submit weekly reports to Pharmacy and Unit Managers regarding the bag system.
Clear daily error reports and update barcodes as needed.
Verify and sign for all goods received from the pharmacy.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Grade 12 qualification
Computer literacy is required
Should have a friendly Attitude
Excellent communication skills are essential
Detail-oriented, results-driven, and highly organized
