Rockafellas is on the lookout for a capable, detail-oriented Temporary Cashier to join our
dynamic Front of House team. This is a key customer-facing role, perfect for
someone who enjoys working in a high-energy hospitality environment and takes
pride in delivering professional, efficient, and accurate service.
The ideal candidate will be confident, reliable, and able to handle transactions with

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the POS system accurately to process payments and issue receipts
• Ensure correct pricing and apply authorized discounts or promotional offers
• Follow cash handling and daily cash-up procedures meticulously
• Greet guests warmly and respond to basic inquiries about pricing, buffet
offerings, and restaurant policies
• Handle guest payment questions, special requests, and complaints, escalating
where needed
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional cashier station and entrance area
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls courteously
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and submit accurate transaction
records and reports
• Monitor and replenish cashier desk supplies
• Work collaboratively with Front and Back of House teams to ensure seamless
guest service
• Assist with guest seating or other FOH tasks during busy periods
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to maintain high service
standards
Minimum Requirements:
• Previous experience in cashiering or a similar front-of-house role
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures
• Well-presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions
• A team player with a helpful, can-do attitude
• Trustworthy, professional, and punctual
• Experience in hospitality or a customer service environment is advantageous
