Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Picker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders while ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently, someone with good computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to picking lists or system instructions.

Data capturing and record keeping

Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock in the correct warehouse locations.

Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.

Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular inventory counts.

Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when required.

Report damaged goods, stock shortages, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to meet daily targets.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role is advantageous.

Good computer literacy

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic understanding of warehouse processes and safety procedures.
