Pear Tree Bistro is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. We are seeking a professional chef with strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to maintain high standards in a busy, quality-driven restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and run a designated kitchen section during service
Prepare and present dishes according to Pear Tree Bistro standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Assist with daily mise en place and service preparation
Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Support and assist junior kitchen staff where required
Help monitor stock levels and minimize wastage
Assist senior chefs with menu development and seasonal specials
Requirements:
Minimum 2–4 years experience in a professional kitchen
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie
Passion for fresh, seasonal, and well-presented food
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
