REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Cleaning Techniques: Familiarity with various cleaning methods and techniques for different types of surfaces and environments (e.g., office spaces, restrooms, carpets).

• Cleaning Equipment Proficiency: Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor buffers, and scrubbers.

• Use of Cleaning Chemicals: Knowledge of different cleaning agents and chemicals, including understanding their correct usage, dilution, and safety precautions.

• Inventory Management: Basic skills in monitoring stock levels and reporting low or missing items for replenishment.

• Waste Disposal: Knowledge of waste segregation and disposal processes, especially with regard to recycling and environmentally friendly practices.

• Health and Safety Compliance: Awareness of cleaning and hygiene standards in the workplace, with an understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
