Employment: Full-time position

Duties will include:

Installing fireplaces and related chimney systems.
Carrying out fireplace and chimney maintenance and sweeping
Assisting with chimney sweeps, inspections and maintenance checks.
Fitting and maintaining chimney cowls where required.
Identifying fireplace, flue, smoke, draught and maintenance issues.
Working neatly and respectfully in customers’ homes.
Following company procedures, safety standards and job sheets.
Reporting issues, materials needed and job feedback to the office.

Requirements:

Previous experience with fireplace installation, chimney maintenance or similar artisan work is highly advantageous.
Must be practical, hands-on and able to work neatly.
Must be reliable, honest and punctual.
Must be able to work under pressure during busy season.
Must have good customer service skills.
Must be able to follow instructions and complete work to a high standard.
Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
Experience in roofing, building, steelwork, fireplaces, cowls or maintenance work will be beneficial.
