Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Technician to join our team. This is a technical repair position and NOT A FORKLIFT DRIVING ROLE. The successful candidate must have extensive hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing forklifts.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a Forklift Technician.

Fluent in Afrikaans and English (speaking and understanding is essential).

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on forklifts.

Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.

Experience with routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

Valid driver's licence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of forklift makes and models.

Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and engine issues.

Conduct inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records.

Provide high-quality workmanship while meeting deadlines.

Assist with on-site and workshop repairs as required.
