Description
The Tshwane School for Business and Society at Ditsela Place, 1204 Park Street, Hatfield, has a permanent position for a Full Professor.

Critical Performance Areas
• Providing academic leadership to staff and students in the Business School.
• Facilitating the learning processes and outcomes of the Business School.
• Lecturing on the MBA programme and involved in other lecturing-related activities.
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders in both public and private sectors.
• Leading curriculum design activities in the Business School.
• Undertaking fundraising activities to sustain the work of the Business School.
• Developing and managing postgraduate academic programmes.
• Conducting original multi-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary research or contract research projects, leading to peer-reviewed publications.
• Engaging with the community through programmes, short courses and consultations.
• Manage the human, financial and infrastructure resources of the research committee to ensure maximum efficiencies in the research and student outputs.
• Oversee and lead the supervision of Master's and/or Doctoral candidates.
Minimum Requirements
• NQF Level 10 (Doctoral Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Management, Leadership).
Experience:
• Five (5) years relevant experience at the Associate Professor level and compliance with the policy on academic appointments and/or promotions.
• Good Business and Industry knowledge, especially in a consulting environment.
• Experience in blended learning practices.
• Expert knowledge in the theory and application of relevant MBA disciplines.
• Experience in facilitating learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and with adult learners.
• Proven track record of supervising Master’s/MBA and/or Doctoral candidates to completion.
• Demonstrate capacity to lead and support postgraduate supervision in line with CHE and DHET accreditation requirements for MBA and Doctoral programmes.
• Full proficiency in English and strong written and communication skills.
• Excellent networking skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Research publications in DHET-accredited peer-reviewed journals.
• An NRF Rating will be an added advantage.
