Main Responsibilities:
Conduct site safety audits, inspections and hazard identification.
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with the OSH Act and company policies.
Investigate incidents and accidents, recommending corrective actions.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions.
Maintain accurate records of audits, incidents and training.
Support emergency preparation and response planning.
Advise supervisors and workers on safe work practices.
Permit to Work Coordination
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in SHE Management or a related field (SAMTRAC: etc.)
SACPCMP registration as a Safety Officer.
Valid Medical from a SAPIA approved facility
Valid Working @ heights and confined space training
Knowledge of rigging and slinging requirements
3-5 years of experience in a construction safety role.
