Experience: Entry-level/Previous stock-control experience advantageous

We are looking for a young, energetic and reliable Junior Stock Controller to join our team.

The ideal candidate must be good with numbers, comfortable using Microsoft Excel and have a strong attention to detail. You will be working with stock figures, capturing information, checking quantities and assisting with daily stock control.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and maintain accurate stock records.
Check incoming and outgoing stock.
Assist with daily stock counts and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Work with Excel to maintain stock reports and records.
Assist with orders, deliveries and general stock administration.
Communicate with suppliers, drivers and staff when required.
Assist with general operational duties.

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12.
Good mathematical and numerical ability.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Computer literate.
Must be accurate and have good attention to detail.
Must be reliable, honest and willing to learn.
Valid driver's licence and ability to drive is essential.
Previous stock-control, warehouse or FMCG experience will be an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Preferably between 18 and 30 years old.
