Online Store Management & Digital Marketing | Johannesburg & Lenasia Preferred

Are you a motivated university student interested in e-commerce, digital marketing, and online business? Do you have knowledge of setting up and managing an online store?

We are seeking a reliable, organised, and self-motivated individual to assist with launching and managing a new online store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

E-commerce Store Management

- Assist with setting up and managing a basic online store.
- Upload products and update descriptions, prices, and stock.
- Process customer orders and assist with fulfilment.
- Track orders and provide customer updates.

Customer Service

- Respond professionally to customer enquiries.
- Communicate with clients about products, orders, and deliveries.
- Assist with basic customer queries.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

- Assist with marketing on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Develop content ideas, captions, and promotional posts.
- Research trending products and sales opportunities.
- Conduct competitor and market research.

Product Research & Suppliers

- Identify potentially profitable products.
- Source local and international suppliers.
- Compare prices, quality, and product availability.

Basic Administration

- Maintain order records and spreadsheets.
- Assist with general administrative duties and daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

- Currently enrolled at university, preferably studying Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Some experience or working knowledge of setting up and managing a basic e-commerce store is essential.
- Knowledge of online order processing and customer communication.
- Basic administration and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing.
- Good written communication and research skills.
- Reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Access to a laptop and stable internet connection.

Previous experience with an online store or e-commerce platform is an advantage.
