Description

The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Finance has a Part-Time position for an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Economics at the GaRankuwa Campus.

INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit, together with the CVs, a fully completed standardized application form available from the university intranet as well as recently certified copies of qualifications, Identity document. Critical Performance Areas

Key performance areas/Core functions:

• Assist the Department Administrator with specific duties as and when required.
• Assist with the filing system in the department.
• Assist with organizing the storeroom.
• Assist the lecturers with specific tasks as and when required.
• Any other duties may be required by the Head of Department.

Minimum requirements:

1. Academic qualifications:
• B Tech/Advance Diploma in Internal Auditing or Economics.
2. Experience:
• Experience as an academic mentor/ tutor or student assistant.
• Excellent oral, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work with students and lecturers.
