Soul Tribe Academy is a new South African AI training academy. We offer a nationally registered Occupational Certificate: AI Software Developer (NQF Level 5, registered under the QCTO, quality-assured by MICT SETA), plus short online courses in practical AI skills.

As a new academy building our first intake, we're looking for facilitators to
help us launch — both in-person and online.

Positions:

- In-person facilitator — Occupational Certificate: AI Software Developer (theory, practical labs, workplace-based learning support)

- Online facilitator — AI Generalist Track and Generative AI Mastermind short courses

Core capabilities required:

- Working knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals — able to explain machine learning, neural networks and generative AI clearly to learners at different levels

- Practical skill in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, data/ETL work, or applied generative-AI tools (prompting, RAG, AI agents, automation)

- Prior facilitation or training experience — comfortable managing a classroom
or online cohort and supporting learners who fall behind

- Strong communication skills and patience with learners from varied technical
backgrounds

- Willingness to work within an outcomes-based, credit-bearing curriculum, since our flagship programme is a registered qualification

Certification requested:

Please apply only if you can provide at least one of the following:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering or similar), or demonstrable equivalent experience

- Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator certification through ETDP SETA or another recognised SETA — especially important for the accredited Occupational
Certificate track

- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud AI/Data) are an advantage, not mandatory for short-course facilitators

- Proof of prior training experience — references or a short portfolio

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
