Emerald Life Proprietary Limited is a licensed Micro Insurer specialising in Funeral Insurance. Emerald Life Proprietary Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clientèle Limited.
We seek to recruit an energetic, positive & self-motivated
individual to join our Administration Department in the capacity of a Branch
Administrator. The incumbent will be situated at our Newcastle District
Office & will work Mon to Fri 08h00 to 16h30.
Summary: Key duties & Responsibilities
· Managing the reception area by:
o Welcoming clients
o Ensuring the reception is neat
o Facilities are booked
o Offering refreshments & comfort
o Receive & sign for packages & ensure packages are given to the addressee
o Attending to walk-in client’s queries
· Managing the switchboard by:
o Answering the telephone
o Distributing calls to the correct person &/or department
o Assisting clients with the telephonic enquires
· Deliver messages in a manner that gain support, is clear and specific.
· Attend to admin requests, such as data capturing from management.
Qualifications & Experience
· Grade 12 or similar qualification is essential.
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English is essential.
· Additional Language(s) will be advantageous.
· Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ proven work experience Funeral Insurance.
· Admin office work & customer service experience will be preferred.
· Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word & Outlook are required.
· Must have a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (will be tested).
