Position Summary
We are seeking a competent and experienced Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, Access Control, Alarms and related security systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and commission CCTV, (IP and analogue) Access Control & Alarm systems
2. Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on existing systems
3. Install and terminate cabling in accordance with industry standards
4. Configure DVR/NVR systems, networking, and remote access
5. Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
6. Complete job cards, reports, and relevant documentation accurately
7. Maintain a professional approach when interacting with clients
Minimum Requirements
1. Proven experience as a CCTV Technician (minimum 3 years preferred)
2. Solid understanding of CCTV systems, including IP-based solutions
3. Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routing)
4. Ability to work at heights and use access equipment safely
5. Valid driver’s licence
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
