Full-time | R10,000 – R30,000 per month, depending on your level of hair transplant experience

Pay guide (please read before applying):
- No hair transplant experience (medical or clinical background only): starting salary around R10,000, increasing as you are trained
- Some hands-on hair transplant experience: between these, depending on your skills
- Experienced FUE / DHI technician (independent graft dissection, sorting and implantation): up to R30,000, depending on your level of experience
Only fully experienced hair transplant technicians will be considered for the top of the range.
Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 | Start: as soon as possible

The Hairfront is an upmarket, doctor-led hair restoration clinic at Touchstone House, Bree Street, Cape Town CBD. We perform FUE / DHI hair transplants and are hiring one person for our surgical team, at one of two levels:
- Hair Transplant Technician: you already have hands-on FUE experience (graft dissection, sorting, implantation). Paid up to R30,000, depending on experience.
- Clinic Room Assistant: no hair transplant experience yet, but you have medical or clinical skills (e.g. theatre/scrub assistant, ENA or nurse, dental assistant, aesthetic clinic). We'll train you, and pay increases as you build technician skills.

Key responsibilities
- Assisting the doctors during FUE / DHI procedures
- Graft dissection, preparation, sorting and counting under magnification
- Loading implanters and implanting grafts under doctor supervision (technicians, or once trained)
- Preparing patients and looking after their comfort during long procedure days
- Setting up, cleaning and turning over the procedure room
- Maintaining strict sterility, infection control and surgical standards

Applicants must meet the following criteria
- Technician level: hands-on FUE experience, ideally 1 year or more
- Clinic Room Assistant level: medical or clinical experience, and comfortable in a sterile surgical environment
- Excellent manual dexterity, good eyesight and attention to fine detail
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and calm and caring with patients
- Legally able to work in South Africa
