Professional Construction Project Manager

Location: Gauteng
Remuneration: Market related based on experience

Minimum Requirements

Registration with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM).
A Built Environment degree (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying).
Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading a Project Management Office (PMO).
Proven experience in Transactional Advisory and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Provide strategic leadership to the Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Engage with stakeholders, including government entities, private partners, and consultants, to drive successful PPP project outcomes.
Ensure adherence to SACPCMP professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, statutory compliance, and project governance.
Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering value.
