Description

We are looking for a hands-on, skilled and reliable technical civils and construction Site Supervisor to join our team in the Fuel Maintenance, Construction & Engineering industry.

The successful candidate will work on retail service stations and commercial sites, supervising teams while also being actively involved in technical and maintenance work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise daily site activities and site teams

* Welding and metal fabrication

* Civil construction and general maintenance

* Concrete, paving and asphalt work

* Pipework installation and repairs

* Roofing and related construction work

* Conduct site inspections and quality control

* Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements

* Troubleshoot technical problems on site

* Maintain tools, equipment and welding consumables

* Complete daily site reports and documentation

* Liaise with clients and ensure excellent service

* Support the Manager / Project Manager

* Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to specification

REQUIREMENTS

* Valid Code 10 driver's licence

* 3–5 years' relevant technical experience

* Previous Supervisor / Team Leader experience required

* Strong welding and fabrication experience

* Good knowledge of construction and maintenance

* Experience with concrete, paving, asphalt and pipework

* Ability to read and follow technical specifications

* Good problem-solving and communication skills

* Strong understanding of health & safety

* Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required

* Sleep-outs and travel outside KZN may be required

* Must be hands-on, reliable and quality-driven
