Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Borehole Drilling Machine Operator to join our team.

This role is suited for someone who understands drilling production, takes ownership of the rig, and can deliver consistent results in the field.

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven experience operating borehole drilling rigs (DTH preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (Code 10/14 advantageous)
- Physically, mentally and medically fit and able to work long hours on-site
- Understanding of drilling in different formations (hard rock, fractured zones, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate DTH / track-mounted drilling rigs safely and efficiently
- Drill boreholes to required depths and specifications
- Monitor drilling parameters (penetration rate, air pressure, flushing, etc.)
- Identify geological conditions and adjust drilling approach accordingly
- Perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Record drilling data (depths, strikes, formations, airlift yield)
- Work closely with the drilling crew to maintain productivity
- Ensure site cleanliness and proper handling of equipment
